*Although it is a embossing process, the heated mold is placed on the leather and only the pattern part is floated.
A craftsman applies color one by one using a block, then finishes it with an airbrush, making this a highly skilled wallet.

【FUJIN RAIJIN】【WIND GOD THUNDER GOD】
Since ancient times, people have believed that these two gods run through the sky between heaven and earth, where the wind blows and thunder roars, and they have been depicted in various places around the world as gods who control nature. Asakusa's Kaminarimon Gate is officially called the Fuujin-jinmon Gate, and these two sculptures are placed on either side of the gate. The Wind God and Thunder God painted by Tawaraya Sotatsu, the founder of the Rinpa school, have been copied by Japanese artists, including Ogata Korin, as designs that they admired, and have continued to be copied in their studies.
