Set of Tsugarubidoro chopstick rests and Wakasa lacquered chopsticks, finished using traditional techniques.
These chopstick rests are made possible only by Tsugaru Biidoro, which can produce a wide range of colours through glass processing.
The chopsticks are Wakasa lacquered chopsticks from the Wakasa region of Obama City, Fukui Prefecture, which boasts the largest production of chopsticks in Japan.
The set is also recommended as a gift.

Tsugaru Biidoro is designated as a traditional craft of Aomori.
Hokuyo Glass production began in 1949, when the company began making floats for the fishing industry. Using the "free-blowing" technique that the company had developed over many years of making floats, the company then began creating handmade glass pieces that evoked the nature of Aomori, and in 1977 "Tsugaru Vidro" was born.
We continue to strive tirelessly to develop new techniques, and as a representative example of handmade glass in Japan, we create rich colors and a sense of the seasons.
*Please do not use a dishwasher for the chopstick rests. As they are handmade, there may be variations in size, color, and weight.
