Teijin developed this water-repellent fabric inspired by the traditional Japanese rain gear called "mino."
Rice leaves, which are used to make raincoats, have countless tiny bumps and grooves, allowing water droplets on their surface to flow down the axis of the leaf.
Inspired by this structure, we gave the fabric surface a unique structure that "allows water to slide."
